Colorado in November

We are at ski camp in Colorado right now.  Our group was luckily enough to get out during hurricane Sandy.  We are skiing at Loveland and the snow is getting better.  It has been sunny and warm so I went on a hike the other day and here are a few pictures.

It's been a while.....Now's it's fall!

Life has just been non stop right now.  Finally made it back from Chile.  School started.  Swamped with meetings every week.  School's firewall blocking EVERYTHING. Breed's wedding. Foliage!  Gosh, first time in so long that we have been around for it.  Break.  Finally feeling like I just about have a handle on things.  Almost caught up.

A better day today

Sometimes you have those days where something goes amiss.  Yesterday was one of those.  Our condo in Chile was broken in to and we had things stolen.  WTF!  I know I am in what is still considered a "developing country" but come on!  Why are people the way they are?  Who thinks they have the right to go in to someone else's personal space, go through their stuff, and take things?  This is the second year in a row I've had stuff stolen coming into Chile or while I'm hear.  I don't want to be jaded but why would I want to keep coming down here?  I know it is not fair to judge a whole country on a few persons specific actions.  Today was a slightly better day.

7am this morning.  First tracks powder run with no poles.

The snow is finally stopping and it is starting to clear up.
